Bridges Program
Rental Assistance
The Bridges/Bridges-Like rental assistance programs are State funded programs administrated by Douglas County HRA. A housing subsidy is provided for a household with at least one adult member having a mental health diagnoses within the past two years and meets income eligibility guidelines. This is a temporary subsidy until the household can obtain permanent housing such as a Housing Choice Voucher or other rental assistance.
Douglas County HRA administers these programs in Douglas, Pope, Stevens, Grant and Traverse Counties.

Bring It Home Program
Rental Assistance
The Bring It Home Rental Assistance Program was created to provide rental assistance to low-income families across Minnesota. Funded through State Appropriations and a portion of the new metropolitan area sales tax, the program offers both tenant-based and project-bnased rental assistance to help cost-burdened households afford housing.
To qualify, households must have at least one child age 18 or younger and an annual income at or below 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI). If all eligible households within this income limit can be served, assistance may be extended to households earning up to 50% of AMI.
The Douglas County HRA administers this program in Douglas, Pope and Grant Counties.
